"This is a labour of love. Extracting small batch honey by neighbourhood is a slow process which must be done by hand. The result is certainly worth the extra effort. You have to taste this!" - Joseph Curry, Apiarist
This is honey in it's most natural state: pieces of honeycomb cut straight out of the hive. Enjoy on its own or delight your guests by placing a piece of honeycomb at the centre of a cheese & charcuterie board next time you host.
Referred to as "nature's perfect food", bee pollen contains a wide spectrum of nutrients to help maintain good health. Bee pollen is rich in vitamins, minerals, and 22 amino acids – including the eight essential amino acids – and is packed with enzymes, bioflavonoids (especially rutin), phytosterols and carotenoids. Bee pollen has a pleasant, slightly sweet, nutty taste that’s great on everything from muesli to yogurt, salads to smoothies.
Honeybees collect tree resins which they use as an antimicrobial coating for surfaces within the hive. We call this propolis. It contains bioflavonoids and antioxidants, and is used in tinctures and skin creams.
Our propolis is raw and unprocessed, straight from the hive.
